Entrepreneurship education ecosystem plays an important role in effective entrepreneurship and economic development.Entrepreneurship education ecosystem in universities,represented by the United States,Germany and the United Kingdom,has provided an endless source of motivation for their own business,and it has led to the economic development of these countries.Entrepreneurship education in our country started relatively lately compared with the developed countries.Therefore,it is still a hot topic that how to perfect the entrepreneurship education ecosystem of higher education in our country so as to realize the breakthrough development of entrepreneurship education.Ourscholars mostly focus onthe study of entrepreneurship education ecological system in foreign countries and China's case study of the entrepreneurship education ecosystem in universities.But the study lacks of research on the current situation and characteristics of education ecosystem in different levels of universities in China.This study analyzes the components and operation of the entrepreneurship education ecosystem in foreign universities such as Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Munich University of Technology by referring to the literature,and summarizes the corresponding mature state of the ecosystem of entrepreneurship education.At the same time,we choose four different kinds of universities in different levels in our country to conduct multi-case studies on the entrepreneurship education ecosystem in these four universities.Research findings:(1)The relatively mature entrepreneurial education ecosystem in foreign universities is composed of entrepreneurship courses and faculty,innovation and entrepreneurship centers,achievement transformation agencies,incubators and entrepreneurial activities.Based on the theory of the interaction between producer,decomposer,consumer and catalyst in the natural ecosystem,this paper analyzes the ecosystem of entrepreneurship education,in which the entrepreneurs are entrepreneurship courses and teachers,the disintegrators are innovation and entrepreneurship centers,And so on,the catalyst is an entrepreneurial activity,consumers are the industry,the external environment is mainly from the government and business support,the internal environment is the entrepreneurial atmosphere of colleges and universities.The roles of the system coordinate and cooperate with each other to form an interlocking whole.(2)There are similarities and differences in the entrepreneurship education ecosystem in the four universities in our country.The same point is that the startup education ecosystem was formed late;schools as top designers in entrepreneurship education ecosystems;teachers,curricula and incubators essential in entrepreneurship education ecosystems;entrepreneurship contests as catalysts;cooperation with governments and businesses.The characteristics are different emphases of the development of the ecosystem of entrepreneurship education;the types of the ecosystem of entrepreneurship education are different;the components of the ecosystem of entrepreneurship education are different.(3)Compared with the entrepreneurial education ecosystem in foreign universities,there is a lack of circular ecosystem of entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities in our country;the positions of universities,governments and social responsibilities are not clear;the division of labor among various departments in the system is not clear;the curriculum system is not perfect;The source of the team is relatively simple;ignoring the creation of college entrepreneurial atmosphere and other issues.Development countermeasures of universities in China: strengthening the recyclability of education ecosystem;The government introduces concrete operable policies;Clarify the responsibilities of various departments in the system;Establishing the entrepreneurial curriculum system combining the core and the auxiliary;Optimize the structure of education faculty team;Cultivate entrepreneurship culture in colleges and universities.
