Study On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Primary School Students’ Extracurricular Reading

Extracurricular reading can promote pupils’ development in cognition,emotion and intelligence,and is conducive to the shaping of their mental state.As the basic link of the primary language course,extracurricular reading plays an important role in acquiring knowledge and expanding the field of vision.It is also the key way to cultivate the reading habits of science and improve the understanding ability.Therefore,it is becoming more and more concerned by the schools and parents.The initiative of "reading more books,reading good books and reading good books" has been put forward clearly in the new curriculum standards,and requires "to pay attention to the cultivation of students’ extensive reading interest,enlarge the reading surface,increase the reading amount and improve the reading taste",and make concrete explanations for the total reading in every grade of primary school,so it can be seen that the education community reads extracurricular reading.Pay attention to the degree.Its theoretical significance is to propose solutions and suggestions from different angles to solve the problem of primary school students’ extracurricular reading,aiming at providing theoretical reference and reference for schools and parents in the knowledge of pupils’ Extracurricular instruction.Its practical significance is that examination oriented education seriously affects the importance of extracurricular reading in the teaching process.However,at present,primary school extracurricular reading is worrying and can not effectively promote students’ self-development.Therefore,the research of this topic hopes to arouse the attention of the school,the parents and the society on this problem,and improve the attention of all parties,and then fundamentally solve the problems existing in the pupils’ reading in the extracurricular reading.On the basis of the previous experience,this subject takes the H primary school in Harbin as an example.Through the questionnaire survey and interview method,the primary school students’ extracurricular reading status is deeply understood.Through the investigation of reading volume and reading time,reading concept,reading material selection,reading habits and methods and reading environment,this paper explores primary school students.The problems existing in extracurricular reading and their causes are put forward,and based on this,corresponding solutions are put forward.There are four problems in the extracurricular reading of primary school students,the low utilization of public resources,the difficult to guarantee the amount and time of extracurricular reading,the blindness in the selection of extracurricular reading,and the unreasonable reading methods and habits of extracurricular reading.The analysis of the causes of the existing problems from four aspects,such as social factors,school factors,teacher factors and family factors,is carried out in detail,and the following solutions are put forward according to the problems.Teachers should improve their reading self-cultivation,enhance their reading guidance to students,carry out reading and communication activities,teach students in accordance with their aptitude,create a reading atmosphere of the campus,develop the reading culture of the campus,strengthen the reading room to build a sound management system,set up a reading course training reading teacher,and perfect the teacher’s examination.Nuclear system and class evaluation mechanism,strengthening teacher training to improve teachers’ reading level,social aspects,advocating the concept of universal reading,perfecting the construction of public book resources,improving the educational system to reverse the social concept,and the construction of the market supervision system to optimize the publication.
