As an important part of Chinese courses,C hinese extracurricular reading is an active supplement to classroom reading activities.The quality of reading and reading ability are also the cornerstones of students' writing ability.With the advent of the 5G era,the opportunities for students to access reading resources through the Internet have greatly increased.Are students in rural primary schools using network resources to read better?With the outbreak of the new crown epidemic,will students' online learning and Chinese extracurricular reading patterns change? Does it affect teachers' guidance for students' Chinese extracurricular reading? The "double reduction" policy has been fully rolled out.Under the circumstance that students have reduced their on-campus study tasks and off-campus tutoring,can the time for Chinese extracurricular reading be increased accordingly? Chinese extracurricular reading has undergone many important changes in the context of the new era.In the case of relatively scarce reading resources and relatively backward educational environment for students in rural schools,what is the current status of their C hinese extracurricular reading and what problems exist? The existence of these problems is the driving force of this research.Based on reading circle theory and the theory of humanistic psychology,this thesis applies literature method,questionnaire survey method and interview method for research.The research content and research direction,combined with the characteristics of this research,finally determined the s ix dimensions of this research.And according to the research dimension,the content of the questionnaire and the outline of the interview were established.On this basis,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 530 senior students in five rural primary schools in a city,and interviews were conducted with 10 senior language teachers and 10 senior students in rural primary schools.This thesis studies the current situation of C hinese extracurricular reading among senior students in rural primary schools in terms of time,environment,methods and guidance.Through the research,it is found that there are some problems in the Chinese extracurricular reading of the senior students in rural primary schools: the students' attitude towards C hinese extracurricular reading is utilitarian,and they pay more attention to the extracurricular books involved in the reading test;the choice of Chinese extracurricular reading content focuses on teaching supplementary readings,ignoring the readings that meet their own interests;the time efficiency of Chinese extracurricular reading is low,and students lack time management awareness;the C hinese extracurricular reading environment is not good,and the educational concept is relatively backward;the C hinese extracurricular reading methods of the senior students in rural primary schools are single,and students lack the understanding of The ability to express and apply reading content;the way students receive outside Chinese reading guidance is not flexible enough,and teachers pay more attention to the reading guidance of teaching supplementary books.In this regard,the following solutions are put forward: guiding students to correctly understand Chinese extracurricular reading;guiding students to scientifically select C hinese extracurricular reading content;urging students to use extracurricular reading time efficiently;improving students' Chinese extracurricular reading environment;guiding students to reasonably choose Chinese extracurricular reading methods;Strengthen teachers' guidance for students' Chinese reading outside the classroom.
