Since 1990,the rapid development of economic globalization and the advancement of various technologies have led to a more refined division of labor across the globe.The division of labor has shifted from the initial inter-industry division of labor to the subsequent intra-industry division of labor,and has gradually evolved into the current division of labor within products.The production of products is separated in the scope of space,and the international vertical specialization is a trend of division of labor and is developing rapidly.One of the main forms of representation is international manufacturing outsourcing.With its low-cost manufacturing advantages,China has extensively accepted manufacturing outsourcing from various developed countries in its global manufacturing outsourcing activities,thereby laying a solid foundation for China's status as a major country in the international manufacturing market.However,China does not only undertake manufacturing outsourcing.To make full use of foreign technology advantages and cost advantages to maximize comparative advantage,China will also issue outsourcing to the international manufacturing market.That is to say,in the global manufacturing outsourcing activities,China plays both the role of the undertaker and the role of the contractor.Under the production mode and trade mode of international manufacturing outsourcing,different types of production processes and production processes have different demands on production factors.This will also have different economic impacts on countries in different positions in the production value chain.The employment of international manufacturing outsourcing on such a large scale has a huge impact on the employment of Chinese society.However,the effect of its influence will show some differences with different outsourcing roles.As a country with typical export-oriented economic growth,how to solve the domestic employment problem while continuing to deepen and expand the international market is a major issue for us.To study the influence of manufacturing outsourcing on the employment scale and employment structure of China's labor force,make a rational explanation for the changes in employment scale of manufacturing outsourcing in China,adjust the employment structure of the manufacturing industry for the increase of employment scale in China,and at the same time,The new open economy is of great significance.In this paper,we based on a summary of domestic and foreign papers on the effects of international manufacturing outsourcing employment and outsourcing measurement methods,according to China's participation in manufacturing outsourcing,the international manufacturing outsourcing measurement method was improved,and the Chinese manufacturing industry's insourcing and outsourcing was done.Estimates,combined with China's actual analysis of the status of China's domestic manufacturing employment,and the possible impact of participation in international manufacturing outsourcing on China's labor market employment size and employment structure.Based on this,we empirically analyzed the impact of participation in international manufacturing outsourcing on the labor market in China by constructing panel data.Finally,it proposes policy suggestions to optimize China's manufacturing outsourcing to promote domestic employment growth and improve employment structure.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows: First,the outsourcing will significantly improve the employment structure,but there is a possibility of reducing the total number of employees.Second,insourcing will worsen the employment structure and at the same time help increase the total number of people employed in our country.Third,for the low-tech industry,insourcing can significantly increase the scale of employment,and at the same time it has a significant effect on foreign-funded enterprises.In terms of economic geographical location,the employment effect in the eastern coastal areas is affected by insourcing.This article proposes to actively promote the policy of reemployment of laid-off workers and strengthen skills training for workers before and during their employment.Optimize the employment structure and enhance the level of China's outsourcing.Strengthen the outsourcing and insourcing of high-tech industries,especially in the eastern region.In this way,while deepening the international market,promoting the growth of domestic employment demand and optimizing the employment structure.
