The migrant worker is the main force of China's industrial workers and new citizens, and it is an important force to promote economic and social transformation and development. From the perspective of supply side,in the process of industrialization and urbanization in the country, the migrant worker as a cheap labor resource has provided a continuous supply of labor for the rapid growth of the national economy. From the demand side, the external globalization dividend has brought a large inflow of foreign capital and the continuous expansion of external demand, forming an outward-oriented growth model. At present, the size of China's migrant worker has reached 245 million, more than one sixth of the total population.A large number of migrant worker have entered factories and cities, providing sufficient labor for economic development. Therefore, the employment of migrant worker is related to the development process of national urbanization and economic structural reform. The migrant worker has made great contributions to the socio-economic development, but their employment situation is not optimistic, their education level is not high, their employment capacity is low,and their employment conditions are poor.If these problems cannot be properly solved,It will lead to a widening gap between the rich and the poor in society, threatening social stability, and not conducive to the advancement of new urbanization strategies and social and economic development. As a public service department, the government should proactively promulgate relevant policies to improve the employment of migrants, give full play to the government's role in promoting migrants 'employment, and take responsibility for improving migrants' employment. The play of government responsibility is not only related to the survival and development of the migrant worker itself, but also to the effective allocation of labor resources, which is of great significance to the development of the country's economy and social stability. In the past, scholars paid more attention to the relationship between the individual characteristics of migrants, social macro factors, and labor market returns when they studied the employment of migrants. The research perspective also focused on the analysis of gender differences and ignored the intergenerational heterogeneity within migrants.Based on this, this study is based on the data from the migrant worker dynamic monitoring survey to study the employment status of the two generations of migrant worker and its influencing factors from the perspective of intergenerational differences.First,by combing the literature and related policy documents,we will understand the current state of China's policy changes on migration and the employment status of the migrant worker.Secondly, through descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, and binary logistic regression analysis, the employment status of the old and new generations of migrant worker and its influencing factors are studied, and the influence of intergenerational differences in the employment of the two generations of migrant worker is analyzed based on related theories.Mechanism to find out the reasons that affect the differences in the employment status of the two generations of migrant worker and put forward corresponding policy recommendations based on this. This article analyzes the intergenerational differences in the employment status and employment behavior of the migrant worker, and understands the changes in the employment behavior of the two generations of migrant worker. It is of great significance to integrate the migrant worker into the city, protect the legitimate rights and interests of the migrant worker, and the future economic development of China.
