High intensity interval training is a physical exercise characterized by short interval and intense activity,with rest or small intensity movement.It has the advantage of short-term and high efficiency.High school students have heavy academic tasks especially girls are physically weak and have little physical activity.Through exploring the effect of high intensity intermittent training on improving the physical health performance of high school girls,it provides a theoretical reference for school physical education and training.The study focused on the effect of eight weeks' high intensity interval training on the physical fitness of high school girls.We searched the relevant literature from CNKI database,combined with foreign literature and expert interview advice to carry out the high-intensity intermittent training scheme.SPSS 19.0 statistical software were used for analysis the related data.The results were as follows: the experimental group had significant increaseing in the lung capacity,standing long jump,and sit-reach after eight weeks of high-intensity interval training(P < 0.05).Compared with the control group,the experimental group increased significantly in 50-meter run test,20 m multistage fitness test,and the maximum oxygen uptake(P < 0.05).There was no significant change in 800 meters and sit-reach(P>0.05)in both groups.The conclusions were as follows :(1)In terms of bodily functions,high-intensity interval training could significantly improve the lung ventilation function of girls in high school.(2)In terms of physical fitness,high-intensity intermittent training was beneficial to promote coordinated development of the physical qualities of female high school students,could significantly improve the speed quality of high school girls,lower limbs explosive power,flexibility and aerobic exercise ability;(3)The eight-week high intensity interval training was not prominent enough for the development of high school girls' sit-up and aerobic endurance.
