The degree of social development determines the product of our needs at present.In daily life and production,we increasingly find that mathematical science is widely used by us as a new product of the information age.People in the new era think it is necessary to learn to use mathematical knowledge,language and skills.The combination of mathematics and other disciplines reflects the diversity and application value of mathematics.In mathematics curriculum standards for compulsory education(2011 edition)(hereinafter referred to as "curriculum standards"),relevant requirements are put forward for mathematics application consciousness,and it is considered very important to improve students' application consciousness.Teachers should play a leading role.In the teaching process,teachers should not only teach students professional knowledge and skills,but also pay attention to the correlation between mathematics and other disciplines or with the actual life,so as to cultivate all-round talents.Through literature review,this paper learned about the basic status quo of mathematics application awareness,and designed a questionnaire based on the relevant theoretical basis to conduct a questionnaire survey on some students and some front-line mathematics teachers in four junior middle schools in yanji city.Based on the current teaching situation of junior middle school students,the author understands the current situation of junior middle school students' application awareness of mathematics,finds out the real root cause of students' weak application awareness of mathematics,and makes an in-depth analysis of the causes.Through the analysis of its current situation and causes,further summary so as to find out the corresponding solutions.Through the research,it is found that the junior middle school students tested have relatively weak application awareness of mathematics,and at the same time,it is found that some teachers do not pay enough attention to the application awareness of mathematics,and do not take cultivating students' application awareness of mathematics as one of the teaching tasks.It is found that schools,textbooks,teachers,students themselves and evaluation system will affect the strength of mathematics application consciousness.In order to solve these problems,this paper proposes two strategies to improve the awareness of mathematical application,including improving the awareness of internal mathematical application and improving the awareness of external mathematical application.For the internal application consciousness of mathematics,we should strengthen the teaching of basic concept principles,emphasize the internal connection between knowledge and perfect students' cognitive structure.For external consciousness of mathematics application,put forward from the corresponding school,textbooks,teachers,students and evaluation system of five aspects proposed to dig deeper into the teaching material and give full play to the advantages of the teaching materials,carry out mathematical practice,cultivate students' application ability,change the idea,improve the comprehensive quality of teachers,pay attention to the language of mathematics teaching,help students improve their reading ability,establish reasonable perfect evaluation system and other aspects to improve student's mathematics application consciousness.This study hopes to urge more school teachers to pay attention to students' applied awareness of mathematics and make contributions to the development of students' applied awareness of mathematics.This study hopes to encourage more school teachers to pay attention to students'mathematical application consciousness and make contributions to the development of students' mathematical application consciousness.
