Popular music as a branch of popular culture,that is growing and growing,it has not only been favored by young students,but also recognized by textbooks.From the perspective of teaching status,the use of popular music in the classroom is mostly used as a teaching tool,such as import and expansion.This approach is in line with the basic concept of “hobbies-driven”courses,which is welcomed by students,but there is a single contact situation,and the educational role of “music aesthetics” is slightly weak.The author conducted this research with the aim of optimizing the teaching factors of the popular music module in middle school and improving the teaching quality of the module.This article is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly describes the purpose,significance and method of the research.The second chapter on popular music and teaching,using questionnaires,literature analysis and interviews,to understand the popular music itself,students' preferences and willingness to learn,the textbooks and teaching conditions of the middle school pop music module.The third chapter is about the optimization design of pop music module teaching.It proposes optimization design and provides case from four aspects: teaching concept,teaching content,teaching implementation strategy and teaching method.The fourth chapter,teaching evaluation and reflection,is based on the teaching design to establish a set of evaluation system,the teaching practice has been evaluated and the corresponding thinking.
