In the major context of a new round of education reform,many scholars and teachers are actively discussing,analyzing the new approach for mathematical education.The general goal in Curriculum Standard proposed that students learn math on the purpose of “further develop fundamental math knowledge,basic skills,basic ideas and basic activity experience”,mathematics learning is “an active,initiative and innovative process,which encourages students to think creatively”,people shall take the perspective from students to transform traditional teaching principle,improve students' operational ability and thinking ability,cultivate their spirit of innovation and practicing,so as to drive the development of mathematics education.In this paper,based on the education principle of new curriculum standard,we utilized methods of literature analysis,theory analysis,case analysis,descriptive analysis to study the strategy of “doing math” activity,in an aim to provide reference and direction for teachers to carry out “doing math” activity.Understanding the generation and development of “doing math” is the precondition for subsequent research,after analysis on the meaning,education value was conducted,we reached the conclusion that “doing math” is characterized by being situational feature,practical,subjective,open,procedural,it has education values of helping students building knowledge,cultivating capability,accumulating experience and enrich emotions.The proposed approaches for carrying out “doing math” activity include class teaching activities,activity-type homework,school-based thematic activities,in the meantime,during the “doing math” activity,we shall flexibly choose the right approach and content for “doing”,pay attention to reflection and comments.After taking the major context of “doing math” activity,we were able to propose constructive strategies for carrying out “doing math” activity in the second learning phase in elementary school,which refer to prepare for “doing”,strategies for creating an environment for “doing math”,which consists of setting up question situation,developing teaching tool,regulating activity orders;make exploration during the “doing” process,strategies for carrying out “doing math” activity include mathematic handcraft,mathematic game,mathematic experiment,mathematic practice and other forms of activity;reflect after “doing”,strategies for upgrading “doing math” include “summary guidance,multiple evaluation,communication encouragement,link to life.
