With the development of the times,society is full of all kinds of information,and information is bound to have reading.Reading has become one of the necessary ways for people to understand information.Among them,mathematics reading is especially important.At present,students need to have high enough reading ability in mathematics application.From the current situation of primary education,the status of mathematics application questions is self-evident in mathematics learning.Under the influence of traditional education,there is no emphasis on the reading ability of primary school students' mathematics application questions.Therefore,to understand the current situation of primary school students' reading ab ility in mathematics application,it is imperative to analyze the problems of primary school students in this field according to the current situation.The above research will provide a strong basis for teachers' teaching.First of all,the thesis adopts the literature research method to review the research status in the field at home and abroad,and the concepts involved in this paper are strictly defined.Then,two class students of the sixth grade of a primary school were selected to conduct a questionnaire survey.According to the results of the questionnaire survey,the test questions were compiled,and some students who participated in the test paper test were briefly interviewed.Then,the four mathematics teachers of the school were interviewed to collect the textbook materials of the students.And the notes on the application questions.Based on the detailed statistical analysis of the above surveys,all the above studies aim to comprehensively understand the current reading ability of primary school students' mathematics application questions,and propose improvement measures according to the application questions in the current stage of primary school students.The final result shows that students have the following problems in reading the application questions: First,the primary school students do not have a clear understanding of the application questions,and the learning habits have great problems.Second,the initiative of primary school students to examine questions is not high.Third,the application questions have unique characteristics of the subject,and the methods used by the primary school students when reading the application questions are not in place.Fourth,the primary school students' reading ability in the language,the ability to read the symbols and the reading ability of the graphic language need to be strengthened.Fifth,primary school students are not enough to apply to the application of extracurricular materials.Combined with the interviews of four mathematics teachers,we can find that teachers pay more attention to the reading of mathematics application questions,but still need to strengthen the ability of students to read the application questions.Finally,according to the above analysis,combined with the reading ability of the primary school students and the author's own experience mentioned in the literature,it is concluded that the primary school students should develop the reading ability of the application from the following aspects: First,strengthen the students' different aspects of the mathematical application.Reading comprehension,mainly including text language,symbolic language and graphic language reading ability.Secondly,it pays attention to the cultivation of extracurricular activities.The activities mainly include three minutes before the class,advocating the students to write the wrong questions and feelings of the application questions,and setting up an application interest reading group.Finally,it is to strengthen the problem-solving method,including the method of imparting answers to common types of application questions to students,and conducting classroom activities to organize students to seek the best solution method.
