| The construction of national central city is an important part of China’s new urbanization construction and improving the regional layout of opening to the outside world. In the current context of globalization, the ties between different countries or regions are getting closer. With the continuous development of China’s economy and society, the requirements for the development of regional integration will gradually emerge. The ties between cities will gradually strengthen, and the central city can play its leading role to provide assistance for the further development of its own economy and the coordinated development of regional economy. Therefore,in order to adapt to the trend of globalization, the construction of national central city is imminent.Based on the panel data of economic growth, industrial structure and population flow of national central cities from 2008 to 2019,this paper firstly describes and analyzes the population distribution, population flow, industrial structure and economic growth status of national central cities;secondly,it uses the panel grey model The method of correlation analysis calculates the grey correlation degree between population flow and economic factors such as industrial structure, urbanization rate and per capita export value in national central cities. Finally, the panel vector autoregressive(PVAR)model is established to further analyze the interaction between population flow, industrial structure and economic growth in national central cities and their surrounding cities. The results show that the population flow of national central cities is more in the East and less in the middle and West;the economic growth difference among the nine national central cities is significant, and the development of the East is better, while the development of the middle and West is relatively poor, but the development momentum of the central cities in the middle and West is strong;the population flow, industrial structure and regional GDP changes of the national central cities and surrounding cities are different to a certain extent In the short term, the impact of industrial structure on population flow is two-way positive relationship. Therefore, the differences between industrial structure and economic growth lead to the significant differences in population distribution and population flow between national central cities and their surrounding cities to a certain extent. |
