Students' Evaluation Of Teaching And Improvement Of Teachers' Teaching Level

As an important way to evaluate teachers,students' evaluation of teaching is not only an important means for schools to understand the teaching effect of teachers,but also plays an important role in promoting the improvement of teachers' teaching level.Until now,students' evaluation has been widely used in many universities and secondary schools both at home and abroad.The study of students' evaluation of teaching is of great significance in theory and in practice.This study summarizes the domestic and foreign research results on the necessity,purpose and role,influencing factors,existing problems and optimization strategies of students' evaluation of teaching by comparing and analyzing the literature,and finds there are relatively fewer studies on the current evaluation system of students in the middle school.Taking Mianyang AX middle school as a research example,combining questionnaires and interviews with some teachers and students in the high school,this study is to learn about their attitudes and cognitions on students' evaluation of teaching,and their views on the evaluation activities of students organized by the school.By analyzing the survey data and interview records,it is found that the reasons why the students' evaluation activities of the example school are not effective in improving the teachers' teaching mainly include the following aspects: the teachers have doubts about the objectivity of the evaluation results,the teachers do not pay sufficient attention to the results of the evaluation,and the effect of students' evaluation of teaching on the work of teachers is not obvious.Drawing on the existing research results and comprehensively considering the opinions of the interviewees,this study which is based on the specific situation of the example school proposes improvement strategies and recommendations with reference value.Schools need to pay more attention to the evaluation of teaching,improve the evaluation system,scientifically use the evaluation results and provide teachers with rich professional support to ensure that students' evaluation of teaching makes great difference to teachers' teaching level.
