Primary school is an important period of learning mathematics.The formation of mathematical thinking mode is closely related to primary school learning.Mathematics itself is a relatively abstract subject,for rural pupils,it is not easy to learn.Therefore,it is particularly urgent for them to find suitable learning methods,gradually to cultivate pupils' interest in mathematics,and to understand the meaning and essence of relevant mathematical content.Life experience teaching method is in line with the psychological and learning characteristics of pupils in lower grades.This thesis studies the application of life experience teaching method in the teaching practice of lower grade mathematics in rural primary schools in Pingshan Town,Hebei Province.Firstly,questionnaire survey and interview are carried out around the following points: The knowledge of lower grade pupils on mathematics subject,the feeling of lower grade pupils on life experiential teaching method,the help of this method to students,the cognitive level of teachers on life experiential teaching method theory,the conscious application of life experiential teaching method and the active guidance of students' participation,the application of life body difficulties in experimental teaching methods.Secondly,on the basis of investigation and interviews,this thesis makes an in-depth analysis and puts forward four suggestions on the application of this method in teaching: First,teachers should thoroughly understand the contents of textbooks and study how to create suitable situations;Second,teachers should guide students to experience inquiry learning;Third,we should increase the content of cooperation and communication in class;Fourth,teachers should guide and cultivate students' interest and ability in linking mathematical knowledge with practical problems.The author also explores the practical application of life experience teaching method in class,gives some special design cases,and summarizes some problems that should be paid attention to in the application of this method.These practices have achieved some results,mainly in the following aspects: It improves the students' learning style,raises their interest in learning mathematics,stimulates their imagination and creativity,raises their interest and ability in linking mathematical knowledge with practical problems,fosters students' feeling of solidarity and mutual assistance,and improves teachers' professional ability.
