Research On The Present Situation Of Data Literacy Of Graduate Students Based On The Fourth Paradigm Of Scientific Research

As an important academic resource,data can produce great value in scientific research,so the level of data literacy is becoming the basic quality requirement of scientific researchers.As a high level talents trained by colleges and universities,data literacy is one of the most important skills in the development of graduate research.In order to understand the present status of graduate students 'data literacy and the factors influencing graduate students' data literacy,this paper mainly researches through questionnaires and interviews.Firstly,this paper summarizes the relevant research situation at home and abroad through literature research.The second focus is to analyze the key words of the ability index of data literacy and the requirement of the fourth paradigm of scientific research on the data competence of researchers,and to construct the data literacy index system of graduate students.Third,reference to the literature in the past years to prepare the questionnaire,through the pretest found the problems of the index system,after the revision of the indicator system to determine the final questionnaire.Fourthly,the data literacy status of graduate students was investigated,240 valid questionnaires were distributed and recovered,and the data were analyzed using EXCEL and SPSS software.Fifth,according to the low score index in the questionnaire,the interview outline was compiled,and the factors influencing the low score index in graduate students were investigated.Finally,the conclusion,deficiency and prospect of this paper are summarized.By means of questionnaire and index revision,this paper identifies the data literacy of graduate students as three dimensions: consciousness and demand,knowledge and skills,law and morality.Through the data analysis,it is found that the consciousness and demand,law and morality of graduate students perform better overall,but the knowledge and skill dimensionare inclined to the general.Among them,the ability of obtaining secondary data,data interpretation,data evaluation and data visualization is better.Postgraduate students have a general knowledge of data formats,data management,data analysis,data innovation ability.Postgraduate students have a low degree of mastery of database management software and a poor ability to use data to construct a relationship model.Graduate students have a general understanding of basic legal knowledge related to data,but a strong moral consciousness.The results of the interviews show that the data literacy of graduate students has the following problems: low demand for data research,lack of systematic training of relevant courses and insufficient internal driving force for learning relevant knowledge.
