A Comparative Study On The Ways Of Career Education In Colleges And Universities Between China And Japan

The problem of college students' employment has attracted much attention under the trend of popularization of higher education,how to carry out career education in colleges and universities to adapt to the new employment environment is an important subject that all countries are generally exploring at present.With the rapid expansion of higher education in China,the employment problem of college students has attracted more and more attention of the whole society.As a country that has developed higher education into "popularization",Japan has made a lot of advanced achievements in the implementation of career education in colleges and universities,and both China and Japan belong to the East Asian Confucian cultural circle with similar cultural background,therefore,this paper makes a comparative study on the implementation of career education in colleges and universities between China and Japan,in order to provide useful reference for improving the implementation of career education in colleges and universities in China.By using the methods of literature and comparative study,this paper makes a comprehensive discussion and analysis on the ways of career education in colleges and universities in China and Japan.Based on the examples of Tsinghua University,Shanghai Jiaotong University,Tokyo University and Hiroshima University,this paper summarizes the commonalities of career education approaches in colleges and universities in the two countries:all regard curriculum teaching activities as the main channel of career education in colleges and universities,there are a variety of extracurricular activities,attach importance to the construction of educational service platform,both emphasize the linkage role of school-enterprise cooperation and pay attention to the practicability of talents.From the point of view of the differences,this paper expounds the differences between the two countries in the aspects of curriculum teaching,extracurricular activities,the construction of educational service platform and school-enterprise cooperation.Finally,drawing lessons from the desirable achievements of Japan in the way of career education in colleges and universities,and combining with the present situation of career education in colleges and universities in our country,this paper obtains four enlightenments to perfect the ways of career education in colleges and universities in our country:firstly,the teaching of career education courses runs through the whole process of college education,and is promoted layer by layer in stages;secondly,enrich the content of professional practice activities and accumulate more social knowledge and professional experience;thirdly,build a professional teaching staff of career education in colleges and universities;fourthly,effectively integrate the resources of all parties and vigorously carry out cooperation and exchanges.
