The textbooks compiled by the Ministry were put into use in September 2016 and have been used for three years.This five-year-long textbook has attracted extensive attention from the society since it was used,which has attracted the attention of many experts,scholars and front-line teachers.Among them,as one of the four systems of textbooks,the reading aid system has been greatly improved and perfected in compiling.From content setting to arrangement and language expression,the elements of reading aids highlight the educational concept of people-oriented and student-centered.Based on the definition and analysis of the concept,constituent elements and content of the reading aid system of the seventh grade Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry,and the investigation and study of the use of the reading aid system in teaching,this paper puts forward some thoughts and suggestions,with a view to providing relevant reference for the improvement and use of the textbooks.This paper is mainly divided into five parts: The first part is an introduction,which briefly introduces the reasons for the topic selection,elaborates the research status of the reading aid system,as well as the significance of the research and the research methods used.The second part gives an overview of the reading aid system.First,it defines the concepts of the reading aid system and the textbooks compiled by the Ministry,and then divides the elements of the reading aid system.It is believed that the reading aid system can be divided into two categories: text type and image type.The text category mainly includes prompts,annotations and information;the image category mainly includes cover illustrations,unit illustrations and text illustrations.Among them,prompts can be divided into unit prompts,preview prompts,side comments and reading prompts;materials can be divided into reading,writing and knowledge filling;annotations are mainly after-class annotations.The third part mainly combs and analyses the contents of the reading aid system of the seventh grade Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry,and summarizes the different characteristics of the reading aid elements in the compilation.The fourth part investigates and analyses the use of the reading aid system of the seventh grade Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry.It is found that there are some problems in the process of using the system: teachers and students do not have a deep understanding of the reading aid system;learning method guidance is not in place;illustration advantages are easy to ignore;reading transfer is lack of attention;lack of self-learning awareness;lack of attention to knowledge complement.In the fifth part,according to the current situation of use,suggestions are put forward from the perspective of teachers and students.Teachers' use: changing teaching concepts,emphasizing the role of reading aids;innovating text interpretation,excavating single elements;emphasizing method guidance,improving core literacy;connecting inside and outside the classroom,broadening students' horizons.Students' use: distinguish and summarize information,improve their learning ability;pay attention to pragmatic accumulation,consolidate the language foundation;with the help of methodological guidance,develop reading habits.
