| In September 2019,Chinese textbooks,compiled by the Ministry of Education,was began to use in all primary and secondary schools nationwide.There are some highlights added in the Chinese textbooks."I love reading" column is one of the highlights for second grade.In order to study the teaching strategies of the new columns,better implement teaching and solve teachers' confusions and problems,the author did a research on the current teaching situation of "I love reading" column.The low grade students' interests are cultivated and their future reading ability is grounded at the same time.This study mainly has three parts.In the first part,the texts of "I love reading" and some children literature works are analyzed.The reading objectives and teaching characteristics are extracted from them.According to its characteristics,some reading materials are recommended.In the second part,the current teaching of "I love reading" is studied.Chinese teachers of second grade from S primary school in B city was surveyed.And then the classroom teaching was observed from three aspects:teaching objectives,teaching contents and teaching methods.Some problems in current teaching are veiled and the causes are found by analyse.In the third part,the author puts forward some improved strategies for "I love reading" column.In terms of teaching methods,we should focus on the cultivation of reading interest and diversify the teaching methods;In terms of teaching objectives,we should associate the whole unit with the column to fix the reading objectives;In terms of teaching contents,we should based on the actual situation and optimize the teaching contents.At the same time,management for teaching in schools should be strengthen.The professional training and teaching resources should be supplied more.For teachers,they should learn actively so as to improve their teaching ability of the new columns. |
