At present,the new teaching method of the primary school Chinese reading teaching task list has been widely used.Whether it can truly serve the Chinese classroom teaching,it is particularly important to explore the scientific effect of the teaching task list.This paper is based on the teaching of "Learning Task List" and the teaching of reading in primary school expository texts as the starting point,This paper applies the "Learning Task List" to the teaching practice of Expository Reading in primary schools with a view to exploring whether the "Learning Task List" has a positive effect on the reading level of Expository Writing by the empirical research method.Through the literature review of the first and second parts,the paper determines the design and implementation of the "Learning Task List",and combines the "Learning Task List" with the teaching of elementary school expository reading.This research focuses on the third and fourth parts,through the experimental research,to verify the effect of the "Learning Task List" on the teaching of expository reading in primary schools.The subjects of this study were Class Two,Grade Five,Grade Five,and Class Four,Grade Five,Grade Five and Grade Four,respectively,in a primary school in Dechang County,In the experimental class,"Learning Task List" is used to teach expository reading,while in the control class,the traditional teaching method is used.Before and after the experiment,the reading level of expository text and learning motivation were measured.Combined with the training of expository reading in interview and experiment,the results show that after 4 weeks of experimental teaching,the general level of expository reading in experimental class is significantly higher than that in control class.Among them,the reading level of expository writing in the low-energy group was significantly higher than that in the control group,and the reading level in the intermediate-competence group was significantly higher than that in the control group.In the dimensions of expository reading level,the experimental class is significantly higher than the control class on the four dimensions of mastering basic knowledge,summarizing the object characteristics or paragraphs,the main idea of the text,clarifying the structure of the text,and analyzing and explaining the language features accurately.Through questionnaires and interviews,the results showed that the learning motivation,learning habits,learning skills and strategies of the experimental class were significantly higher than those of the control class.This study shows that the use of Learning Task List" has a positive impact on the teaching of reading in elementary schools,The reading level of the expository essays has been improved,the classroom atmosphere is active,the interest and enthusiasm of the students are strengthened,the good study habits are gradually formed,and the learning skills and strategies are improved significantly.
