Research On The Practical Dilemma And Countermeasure Of Social Work Service For Migrant Children

With the rise of migrant workers into the city,the number of migrant children in cities has gradually increased,and the urban life of migrant children has attracted the attention of all sectors of society.With the development and growth of social work,social work service has begun to involve various fields,among which migrant children service has become one of the areas.The government and all parties will provide services for migrant children by purchasing social work service projects.With the development of the projects,the plight of migrant children is alleviated to some extent,their well-being is improved,the burden of migrant families is reduced,and social harmony and stability are promoted.However,there are some difficulties and obstacles in the process of carrying out social work projects for migrant children,which limits the effectiveness of the projects.This study focuses on the practical difficulties encountered in the service process of social work projects for migrant children,and aims to explore effective countermeasures,actively promote the local level of social work services for migrant children,and provide theoretical and technical references for the smooth development of social work services for migrant children in the future.This paper mainly uses qualitative research methods to investigate and analyze four social work projects for migrant children,and to analyze the problems and difficulties in the process of carrying out services.The research shows that the plight of migrant children project is mainly manifested in three aspects:The first is the dilemma of service subjects,including professional dilemma,talent dilemma and financial dilemma.The second is the plight of the service objects,including the fact that the young age of migrant children is difficult to recognize and express their real needs,and parents cannot express their needs instead of children.The characteristics of the service objects make it difficult for social workers to accurately grasp their deep needs.Due to the practical problems of migrant children's families,their parents have no time to participate in the activities,which is mainly reflected in the general economic conditions of migrant children's families,their parents are too busy to participate in the parent-child activities,and social workers cannot really intervene in their families to provide services.At the same time,there are some difficulties such as migrant children's families'deviation in their cognition of social work services,their over-dependence on social workers but their exclusion of social workers' in-depth services,and some migrant children's parents'lack of awareness of rules.The third is support difficulties,including the intervention of community residents'committees,supervision of social work organizations and inadequate re-education,etc.In view of the current plight of social work projects for migrant children,due to the irreversibility of the objective situation of the clients in a longer period of time,the author mainly focuses on the three levels of social workers,social work institutions and the government.Social workers lack of professional ability,social work agency support to social work of the project is insufficient,lack of government support for the development of the floating children.In view of the current difficulties in the development of social work project services for migrant children,the author mainly discusses the countermeasures from three levels:social workers,social work service institutions and the government.Project social workers should strengthen their own capacity-building,enhance the professional ability of social workers,grasp the needs of clients in many ways,provide accurate services,increase publicity efforts,increase the understanding of social work of clients,flexible service methods,and improve family participation of migrant children.Institutions should improve management and overall leadership,strengthen talent management,effectively play the role of supervision,and broaden funding channels.The government should play a leading role,attach i.mportance to migrant children,improve service evaluation system,and give social work space for professional development.
