Difficulties And Coping Strategies In The Initial Stage Of Social Work Projects In The Community

With the rise of migrant workers into the city,the number of migrant children in the city is gradually increasing,their living situation in the city is concerned by all sectors of society.At the same time,the rapid development of social work services,involving various fields,mobile children services has become one of them.As a theoretical discipline with rich theoretical basis and social practice experience,social work has great potential in children’s work.The project is not only a professional method of social work services,but also the core means of self-management of social work institutions.With the rapid development of social work,the importance of the project is increasingly prominent.The government and all parties will provide professional services for migrant children by purchasing social work services.In recent years,children’s care and protection system has been vigorously promoted all over the country.In this context,the "migrant child protection" project settled in the new urban area of Xi’an city settled in Wandong community.Through participating in observation and visiting in the early stage of the project,the author systematically analyzes and combs the difficulties and coping strategies in the early stage of children’s social work project,and discusses in detail the difficulties faced by each system in the service work in the early stage of the project.Social organizations are faced with the dilemma of lack of professionalism,resource dependence,human resource shortage and problems in reimbursement.Secondly,social workers are faced with the dilemma of lack of residents’ identity and professionalism.The community is faced with the difficulties of busy administrative affairs,low willingness to participate,few community professionals,difficult to recruit service objects,as well as the political and legal environment,social environment and other external objective environment in the implementation of the project.According to the different difficulties faced by each system,the author puts forward solutions in social organization:1.Through project training,improve the professional ability of social organization 2.Correctly face resource dependence 3.Strengthen talent management,reduce brain drain 4.Actively communicate and coordinate the reimbursement rhythm.In terms of social workers:1.Improve residents’recognition of social workers through relevant publicity;2.Use institutional training to increase the professionalism of social workers.In the community:1.Relying on the four social linkage policy,reduce the burden and increase the energy for the community 2.According to the situation of the service object,flexibly change the service method and time.This paper not only has great reference significance for the specific work of children’s social work project in the early stage,but also makes the accumulation of working methods in response strategies,and also accumulates valuable experience for the development of children’s social work.It has contributed to the construction of a child friendly society.
