The acceleration of urbanization and industrialization brings vitality to the development of urban economy,but also brings hidden trouble of social progress.The floating population is constantly pouring into the city with their children moving into the city.In the face of the strange social environment,it is difficult for them to adapt and integrate into the city life quickly.This is not conducive to the early socialization of migrant children,and is not conducive to their healthy growth.This paper takes the social work project of G school in Xiangcheng District of Suzhou as the research object,focuses on the interpersonal communication status of floating children,and finds out by questionnaire and case study.The floating children have some common problems in peer communication,including lack of self-confidence,deviation of the idea of making friends,lack of active will to make friends,lack of good interpersonal skills,etc.In the parent-child relationship and teacher-student communication in a completely passive state,dare not express their ideas,will all the negative emotions in the heart,unwilling to talk.In order to improve the interpersonal ability of the floating children,this study selected the fourth grade students of G school as the objects of social workers' intervention service,through the assessment of the needs of the clients,the use of interaction model and development model.According to the five stages of group preparation stage,group beginning stage,group development stage,group mature stage and group end stage,the group activities of "growing up" are designed to improve the interpersonal difficulties of floating children.Improve their personal ability,promote migrant children to adapt to and integrate into the new urban environment as soon as possible.After intervention in migrant children,two dimensions,process assessment and outcome assessment,were adopted.Evaluate the effectiveness of the team's activities,refine and reflect on practical techniques and experiences,and propose countermeasures and suggestions for the project.The purpose of this paper is to provide practical experience and ideas for social work to improve the interpersonal ability of migrant children through the project presentation of migrant children's growth and development group.It provides the basis for perfecting and innovating the service mode of school social work.
