Primary school Chinese textbooks are an important basis for teacher education and student learning.To a certain extent,they affect the humanities quality of primary school students,and illustration design is directly related to the quality of Chinese textbooks.As a "second language" in Chinese textbooks,illustrations have educational functions that stimulate students' interest in learning,develop students' imagination and aesthetic ability,and convey cultural valuesThe Kokumura Book Edition Elementary School Mandarin textbook is widely used in Japan,and its illustration design is unique.The pupils regard it as a “good-looking picture book”.This study uses literature analysis,content analysis and quantitative analysis,based on the characteristics and laws of children's physical and mental development,with the latest edition of the Guangcun Book Edition primary school textbooks one to four volumes for research purposes.The Guocun book version of the Mandarin textbook is mainly composed of four aspects: “Human Rights and Care”,“Peace and Equality”,“Environmental Protection” and “International Understanding”.It can be divided into import units and foundations in the layout structure.Units and integrated units.Its textbook illustrations are based not only on national education regulations and policies,but also on the stage of student physical and mental development and social culture.This article systematically and comprehensively analyzes the illustrations of the textbooks in the four dimensions of the number and classification of illustrations in the textbooks,the artistry of illustrations,the values conveyed by illustrations,and the fit of illustrations and illustrations.The number of illustrations is large and rich in content;this article studies the types of illustrations in this edition of textbooks from the abstract levels of illustrations,illustrations and illustrations;in the artistic analysisof illustrations,the cover-type illustrations,the introduction unit illustrations and Core unit illustrations;general illustrations,background illustrations,and embedded illustrations are analyzed from the location of the illustrations.The illustrated illustrations are diverse,using descriptive illustrations and comic-style illustrations that match the aesthetic tastes of first-and second-year students,which is conducive to stimulating students' interest in learning;their color matching of illustrations respects the preference of children in lower grades for color,in line with seven or eight years old.Children's aesthetic taste.The location of the illustrations is reasonably organized to help achieve the important functions of its ancillary teaching.Illustrations convey the love of nature,the protection of the environment,respect for life,creation and equal value orientation.This version of the Mandarin textbook is based on different selection themes and the corresponding types of illustrations,reflecting the value of illustrations as a potential "second language" in textbooks,making the graphics highly compatible.This edition of the textbook illustrations is well-crafted and reflects the unique craftsmanship of the Japanese.These foreign domain experiences are worthy of our reference,which provides a realistic reference for the preparation of high-quality primary school Chinese textbooks that meet the teaching requirements of China.
