Research On The Formation And Function Of A Rural Self-Organization

The rural self-organization is in which the village community members are based on autonomous willing,according to certain negotiation mechanisms and rules to spontaneously mobilize to form an organizational entity,to achieve individual interests and organizational specific goals to participate in organizational activities,to generate self-governing within a self-governance mechanism.This study selects a mutual aid committee of funerals or weddings in Rural,as the research object of the field investigation,using the grounded theory so that forming a theoretical basis of "interest-identity-institution",throughout to participatory observation method and structured interview method.In-depth case interviews were conducted on the redemption autonomy and organizational operations of the mutual aid committee's participation in mutual assistance.Through this research found that the mutual aid committee of funerals or weddings is a power institution formed on the basis of public opinion.Firstly,the mobilization of rural elites and the economic benefits of peasants to reduce the burden of funeral expenses are the driving conditions and prerequisites for promoting the formation of the mutual aid committee of funerals or weddings.Secondly,the members of the organization agree with the organizational system,rules and management responsibilities established by the mutual aid committee of funerals or weddings,and jointly trust management personnel to maintain the lease and reproduction of public resources.The committee promotes the social foundation of the autonomy of the funeral and the development of the organization in an orderly manner.The "reciprocal norms" for the formation of village life are to reduce the economic burden of mourning affairs by "taking white things to raise red things",and to promote the marriage and funeral customs of the D-villager group.Thirdly,the establishment of the mutual aid committee of funerals or weddings and the system of organizational operations help to create an institutional environment for the rural social innovation.The self-organization of rural areas has the characteristics of advanced social activities.It is a social organization that represents the public opinion and serves the farmers to develop and promote rural life.In the context of rural revitalization,a new type of rural social organization may also be formed.
