In recent years,the advanced Placement Courses(AP)in the world are increasing day by day,while Chinese Advanced placement courses are still in the primary stage,with a relatively short period of time and low popularity.At present,there are many problems and prominent problems in the course offering.It is necessary to attach importance to these issues,analyze the causes of the problems,and discuss the corresponding solutions.Only in this way can the CAP be constantly mature and improved.Z Senior High School is the first pilot CAP school in Henan Province;it is one of the earliest universities in Henan Province to carry out CAP.It has strong typicality and representativeness.This study takes Z High School in Zhengzhou as an example,by investigating the teachers and students of the course of Z High School,starting with teachers’ teaching and students’ learning,from the perspective of multi-dimensional analysis of the current implementation of CAP,finds out the problems in curriculum implementation,explores the causes of these problems from a deeper level,and discuss the countermeasures and measures to solve the problems so as to further improve the curriculum system of CAP,promote the faster and better development of CAP in Zhengzhou and Henan Province.This study can make the relevant research comprehensive,systematic and in-depth,helping schools to solve practical problems in the implementation of CAP,optimize the teaching of courses,improve the quality of teaching,and better service the senior high school curriculum reform.The study finds that the problems existing in the implementation of CAP are concentrated in five aspects,that is to say,students are short of time and energy,some courses are too difficult to learn,school leaders do not attach enough importance to it,teachers’ teaching methods are single and lagging behind,and the imperfect curriculum evaluation system.The reasons are as follows: the main reason is the restrictions of the college entrance examination systerm and the college entrance examination pressure;a lack of management of CAP,lack of relevant supporting policies;the relevant groups’ insufficient knowledge of the CAP,and teachers’ lack of continuous professional training.After all,the existing of some problems is normal because CAP have been implemented for a relatively short time in China.But we must carefully examine and solve these problems.In future,we will promote the better implementation of CAP in model high schools in Henan Province.We should focus on the following aspects: first of all,we should unify the management organization,strengthen top-level design;improve the curriculum system,optimize the course difficulty;improve supporting support and the evaluation mechanism.Secondly,schools should improve ideological understanding of CAP,increase cooperation and exchanges with universities and pilot schools.In addition,teachers should actively participate in training,enrich teaching methods and increase the degree of interaction between teacher and student.
