Confucius Classroom,as an institution for promoting Chinese and popularizing Chinese culture,is quite different from Confucius Institute in terms of teaching objects,teaching methods,and teaching contents.Confucius classroom teaching is mainly for primary and secondary school students,who are young,not easy to concentrate,and not interested in simple language knowledge.Therefore,the primary task of Chinese teaching for primary and secondary school students in Confucius Classroom is to cultivate their interest in learning Chinese and understanding Chinese culture,so as to improve their enthusiasm for learning Chinese.Thai primary and secondary school students generally have strong hands-on ability,rich expression and are willing to participate in various lively and interesting activities,so cultural activities can make up for the lack of classroom teaching to the greatest extent.Taking the "Chinese Bridge-Guoguang Cup",the large-scale Chinese Cultural Skills Series Competition,held by Confucius Classroom at Srinakorn Middle School,which is one of the "Global Outstanding Confucius Classroom",as an example,this paper makes a quantitative analysis of the organization and development of Chinese cultural activities in Confucius Classroom at Srinakorn Middle School through questionnaires,and truly shows the development of Chinese cultural activities in Southern Thai Chinese School.Secondly,this paper analyses the problems in the "Chinese Bridge-Guoguang Cup" large-scale Chinese cultural skills competition,points out the reasons,and provides feasible solutions,in order to provide new ideas for the sustainable development of Chinese cultural activities in the Confucius Classroom at Srinakorn Middle School and references for Chinese cultural activities in Confucius classroom in other counties.The article is divided into five parts.The first part is the background of the topic,the purpose and significance of the study,the related research summary,the content and method of the study,and the innovation of the study.The second part is a case study of the cultural activities of the "Chinese Bridge-Guoguang Cup" contest held by Confucius Classroom at Srinakorn Middle School,Thailand.Firstly,it combs the Chinese cultural activities held by Confucius Classroom at Srinakorn Middle School in Thailand in the past years.Secondly,it analyses the roles of teachers and students in Chinese cultural activities.Finally,it elaborates in detail from the early stage,the middle stage and the later stage of the activities.The third part investigates and analyses the feedback of Chinese cultural activities in the Confucius Classroom at Srinakorn Middle School in Thailand.Through questionnaires and interviews,we can understand the attitude,views and suggestions of the teachers and students of the Confucius Classroom at Srinakorn Middle School on the Chinese cultural activities held by the Confucius Classroom at Srinakorn Middle School.The fourth part mainly summarizes the problems and shortcomings of the questionnaire and the interview results in Chapter Three,and puts forward feasible suggestions to provide enlightenments and references for Chinese cultural activities in Confucius Classroom at Srinakorn Middle School in Thailand.The fifth part is the conclusion of this paper,which summarizes the author's understanding of the inadequacies of this study.
