| This article takes Experience Chinese 1(high school)and the HSK Standard Course 1 as the research object,and makes a comparative analysis from four aspects,including the overall design,language elements,texts and exercises,and cultural factors.At the same time,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the elementary Chinese proficiency of high school students in northeast,north and central Thailand to understand their evaluation and demand for textbooks.Combined with data analysis,questionnaire results and the author’s teaching practice in Thailand,it is found that Experience Chinese 1(high school is more in line with the characteristics of Thai high school students.The text arrangement is rich and interesting,the exercise forms are diverse,and the cultural point arrangement reflects the daily life of China and Thailand.The HSK Standard Course 1 is more specific and practical in terms of language elements.The explanation of phonetic knowledge and grammar rules is conducive to the establishment of a complete Chinese learning system for learners and plays a significant role in improving their HSK test scores.Through comparative analysis,this paper points out the advantages of the two textbooks and the improvements to be made in order to provide reference for the compilation of the following elementary Chinese comprehensive course textbooks.At the same time,it provides help for TCFL teachers who are using or preparing to use these two textbooks to have a clearer understanding of the textbooks,so as to select more effective teaching methods and strategies and improve the learning effect of learners. |
