At present,the professional development of head teachers has attracted wide attention from educators and the society,it is the trend of education development to know the current situation of the professional development of head teachers and improve their professional quality.It is an effective way to improve the professionalization of regional head teachers by investigating the current situation of head teachers in a district and putting forward some countermeasures combined with theoretical research.This article tries to combine the theoretical research of “Professionalization of head teachers “with the practical experience that promotes its development and discusses the present situation and countermeasures of the professional development of primary school head teachers in Ouhai district through four parts.In the first part,the author analyzes from the education environment and expounds the study significance of this viewpoint in this paper from several aspects,and combines the studies on professional development of head teachers at home and abroad and the studies on theories related to head teachers to explore the evaluating indicator of professional development of p primary school head teachers in Ouhai district.The study contents in this paper and study methods such as questionnaire,interview are determined.In the second part,the concept of head teachers and professional development of head teachers are defined.In the third part,the author designs a multi-dimensional questionnaire for the professional development of head teachers,and makes a thorough and specific investigation on nearly 200 head teachers in different teaching environments in this district,so as to truly understand the current situation of the professional development of head teachers in this district,and analyzes the data according to the results of the questionnaire survey,and further understand the current professional development of head teachers combined with part of the interviews.In view of these present situations,the author analyzes the reasons from multiple dimensions and understands the specific factors that impede the professionalization of head teachers in this district.In the fourth part,the author analyzes the reasons and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures to promote the professional development of primary school head teachers combining with the professional qualities that head teachers should possess such as professional ideals and beliefs,professional theoretical level and professional ability.
