With the rapid development of science and technology today, the competitiveness of a country often depends on the country's innovative talent pool, and the cultivation of innovative talents requires innovative education. Therefore,STEAM education came into being.STEAM education integrates science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics education to solve complex practical problems,so as to cultivate students' creative ability. The Chinese government has always been very clear about the importance of innovative education, especially in recent years to encourage the exploration and practice of innovative courses such as STEAM education and robot education in areas where conditions permit. With the support of the government,STEAM education and robot education have gradually entered primary and secondary school campuses.Exploration and practice of related courses, innovative education has also been recognized by the school and society. However, there are still many problems in the practice and exploration of STEAM education and robot education in elementary and middle schools.Due to the lack of in-depth research on STEAM education theory,in the actual teaching of STEAM courses, such phenomena as rigidity and rigidity often occur. As a result, the related teaching practice of STEAM education stays on the surface and does not exert its advantages;in terms of robot education, related courses are basically around The competition was launched, focusing on technology but not process, and emphasis on practice but not application. It lacked the cultivation of students' innovative ability. Some viewpoints have proposed that based on the characteristics of STEAM education and robot education to integrate students' creative ability.Based on this, this article studies the teaching model of robot education in primary school under the guidance of STEAM education concept,in order to provide robot education exploration and practice.reference.This article expounds and analyzes the meaning, connotation and characteristics of the STEAM education concept.Based on the current situation of robot education in primary schools,a teaching model for robot education in primary schools under the STEAM concept is constructed, and teaching practice is carried out with this model to test its role in robot teaching.Apply effects. This thesis mainly performs the following three parts:(1)Analyze the development and research status of STEAM education and robot education, expound the meaning, connotation and characteristics of STEAM education, and understand and analyze the status of robot education in primary schools through questionnaires.(2)Determine the composition of the teaching mode based on STEAM education theory research and the current state of robot education in primary schools;analyze the classic STEAM teaching mode, and draw the particularity of the robot teaching mode under the STEAM concept;based on the project-based learning teaching mode Improved, and established the teaching model of robot education in elementary school under the STEAM concept.(3)According to the designed teaching mode, the teaching practice is carried out in two cases,"Obstacle Avoidance Car" and "Robot Inspection Robot",and the application effect of the teaching mode is tested;experiments show that the teaching mode of robot education in primary schools under the STEAM concept It can promote students' mastery and application of subject knowledge. The research conclusions reached in this study are: After a semester of STEAM robotics learning, learners have significantly increased their interest in learning, and their subject knowledge learning and application ability, group collaboration ability, and hands-on ability have also improved significantly.STEAM The teaching model of primary school robot education is effective under the concept.
