Robot education aims to cultivate innovative and practised students.In recent years,robot education has been an important part of primary and secondary school curriculum as the deepening of new curriculum reform,and its educational values have been widely recognized around the society.The integration of robot education with science,mathematics and other disciplines was proposed in many countries abroad to promote learning and enrich subject teaching.Robot education in China is in the primary stage of development,and the scientific teaching reference models on the integration of robot education and other disciplines are still absent.The philosophy of STEAM education advocates multi-disciplinary integrated in the education approach.STEAM is chosen as guidance,robot course is selected as platform,STEAM is integrated into robot education to solve the existing problems in robot education.To build a framework of robot teaching design based on the STEAM and instruct the teaching design and implement method under the framework,in the paper,the teaching research was conducted in Lanzhou experimental school,and the effectiveness of teaching framework was verified by the teaching effect analysis.In this paper,based on the teaching target,teaching resources,teaching content,teaching process,teaching tools and the teaching evaluation,ADDI E teaching design model was referenced and the methods of quasi-experimental was adopted to construct the framework of robot instructional design for STEAM.Therein,the framework includes pre-teaching analysis,teaching process design,comprehensive development,implementation of course teaching and process assessment.The curriculum standards,teaching resources and learners were analyzed in the pre-teaching analysis to obtain the teaching objectives of STEAM integrated.Disciplinary knowledge was integrated into each teaching section by designing the teaching activity processes to realize the compactly teaching activities during the teaching process design.The comprehensive development was combined with the robot teaching situation in Lanzhou experimental school to develop the scholastic resources and the teaching tool need in the process of teaching implementation.The implementation of classroom teaching is the process of implementing teaching to the teaching objects by means of teaching tools according to the activity flow.A comprehensive observation was conducted in the teaching process for the teaching objects and the assessment between both teachers and students was realized with the aid of the evaluation table.The WEDO robot curriculum of Lanzhou experimental school was chosen,in which the teachers designed and implemented teaching according to the teaching framework.The analyze of the teaching effect showed that teaching design of robot guided by STEAM could stimulate students' interest in learning robot and improve their basic knowledge of robots.Ulteriorly,the creativity,programming ability,practical ability,problem solving ability and teamwork ability of students were trained.The results also verified the validity of instructional design framework and instructional design.
