Social Work Involves Home Care

In this paper,literature,visits,field practice and other methods are used to analyze the role of social workers involved in community home care services.Taking the old-age service of the Center for Knowledge and Practice Social Work as an example,the author explores the current situation and existing problems of social workers' involvement in home-based pension service from the author's own practical experience in home-based pension service.The specific problems are as follows: first,the evaluation system before and after service is incomplete,and the service content is not rich.Second,the overall professional quality of staff is not high,and the professional skills of staff are not perfect enough.Third,the public's understanding of the concept of home-based pension is not in place,and the acceptance level is low.After the discovery of these problems,the author theoretically analyzed the feasibility of social work intervention in home-based pension,and how to use effective professional knowledge to solve these problems,and finally discussed the specific methods of social work intervention in home-based pension.From the micro,meso and macro perspectives,the author makes a tentative plan for social work to intervene in home-based pension services.At different levels,social workers play different roles.At the micro level,social workers are the designers and providers of home-based pension services.On the medium level,social workers are managers.At the macro level,social workers will assume the role of policy advisors.Through the intervention of these three different levels,we can improve the service quality of home-based pension and enrich the service content.
