"Water Margin" is a long vernacular novel in ancient China.It has been a must-choose work in Chinese textbooks for primary and secondary schools since the Republic of China,also is one of the bibliographies for reading famous works in the senior high school entrance examination.The study of the selected texts of "Water Margin" in junior middle school Chinese textbooks,that is conducive to students' accumulating and constructing the core literacy of Chinese subject in their active language practice activities and enhancing their aesthetic experience of the motherland's language and characters."Water Margin" junior high school textbook selection teaching importance is self-evident,but in reality,the teaching of text selection often appears rigid and limited,lack of connection textbook selections and the whole book reading,does not meet the requirements of the examination.This paper mainly adopts the methods of documentation,comparison,statistics and case study,trying to break through the existing teaching design model of "Water Margin" in junior high school,and to integrate with the whole book reading concept.Then,it further explores the effective reading teaching approach of "Water Margin" in combination with the senior high school entrance examination in Fujian Province.This paper is mainly divided into three parts:The first part is the analysis of the text selection of "Water Margin",a Chinese textbook for primary and secondary schools.Since the Republic of China,"Water Margin" has been gradually accepted in the history of Chinese education in primary and secondary schools in China.It is one of the compulsory bibliographies in primary and secondary schools.Its story content is generally selected into various versions of Chinese textbooks in primary and secondary schools.The selected contents are diverse and relatively concentrated.Most of the current editions of Chinese textbooks for primary and secondary schools have selected the contents of "Water Margin".The content selection of "Water Margin" in junior middle school reflects the characteristics of the transitional stage.The content selection in junior middleschool and primary school is diverse,and the content in senior high school is relatively single.The contents of "Water Margin" in junior middle school overlap with those in primary school.The selected articles of "Water Margin" in junior middle school are all intensive reading texts,and they focus on the two selected texts of "the Key Link to Circumvent Dependencies Birthday" and "Major Lu Pummels the lord of the West".The second part is to explore the teaching of the text selection of "Water Margin" in junior high school Chinese.The text selection of the junior high school textbook "Water Margin" is various.For the exploration of the teaching of the text selection,this paper takes the text "the Key Link to Circumvent Dependencies Birthday" edited by the Ministry of Junior High School Chinese as the research object,takes the teaching content as the breakthrough point,and analyses and collates the reasonable teaching content of "the Key Link to Circumvent Dependencies Birthday" which should meet three requirements: teaching content should be based on the style of novel and the characteristics of the text selected from ancient Chinese vernacular novels;teaching content should be flexible to achieve the unit objectives to meet the practical needs of junior three students in novel learning;Chinese teachers 'text interpretation should be reasonable and effective to ensure the accuracy of teaching content.On the basis of these three requirements,this paper evaluates the teaching contents of 11 representative examples of "the Key Link to Circumvent Dependencies Birthday" selected over the years,and summarizes the shortcomings of the teaching contents:lack of stylistic awareness;failure to effectively achieve the unit objectives;over interpretation of the text by individual teachers.On the basis of this study,combined with the concept of reading the whole book,the innovative teaching design of "the Key Link to Circumvent Dependencies Birthday" was completed.This teaching design not only achieves the unit goal effectively on the basis of the style,but also integrates the whole book reading thought systematically,and adds a storytelling performance to the feeling of language and writing.The third part is about the study of reading "Water Margin" of the senior high school entrance examination in Fujian Province.Based on the statistical analysis of the readingquestions of famous works in the senior high school entrance examination in Fujian Province from 2016 to 2018,this paper first systematically summarizes the characteristics and basis of the propositions of the reading questions of famous works,and then combs and analyses the characteristics of the contents and types of the test questions of "Water Margin" : Since the unified high school entrance examination in Fujian Province,the types of questions have changed from diverse to fixed judgment questions and short answers,focusing on the judgment of the details of the characters' stories and the brief description of events.It can be seen that the reading and examination of "Water Margin",a famous work of the senior high school entrance examination,is conducive to the improvement of students' core literacy of Chinese and the expansion of text selection teaching,but the type of questions is not conducive to the development of students' speculative ability.Therefore,it is obviously necessary to explore the effective reading teaching methods of "Water Margin".This paper puts forward three ways: introducing the form of combination of storytelling and recitation;carrying out "short commentary" collection activities;drawing lessons from the project learning concept of the whole book reading.In order to provide reference for the teaching of other famous works.
