As professional staff engaged in education,teachers shoulder the mission of training talents for the country.The increase of their work engagement,that will be improve teaching performance and enhance the vitality of teachers team,and finally realize school management objectives of the organization.Therefore,it is necessary to have a further study on the teachers'work engagement.After studying and analyzing a large number of domestic and foreign related literature,this study starts with the basic theory of work engagement and adopt the way of convenience sampling to investigate primary and secondary school teachers in Fujian province.A total 849 valid data has been collected.Statistical analysis methods are used to verify these data.In order to further understand the current situation and influencing factors of teachers' work engagement,13 administrators and teachers of primary and secondary school were interviewed.Then,the results of comprehensive data analysis and interview,summarize the typical characteristics of high and middle school teachers in the work,and analyze the main factors that influence the work engagement of teachers in primary and secondary schools under the perspective of psychological contract.The main findings are as follows:(1)The degree of work engagement of primary and secondary school teachers at present in Fujian province is higher than the medium level on the whole.Head teacher,cadre teachers,marital status,region,title,degree,teaching section have different degree of significant on teachers'work engagement.(2)The psychological contract of teacher's in primary and secondary schools were positively,respectively,correlated with their work engagement.Teachers who have higher degree of psychological contract will more likely engaged in their work.(3)Three dimensions in psychological contract(teachers' development responsibility,school development responsibility and school reality responsibility)have predictive effect on teachers'work engagement,among which the prediction of school responsibility is the most important.This means that teachers'work engagement can be influenced by taking incentive measures from these aspects.(4)Teachers who have higher degree of work engagement will more likely to discipline himself with professional ethics,work overtime,pursue a career advancement,and with a strong sense of psychological contract.The main factors that affect their work engagement include individuals,work and organization.Finally,according based on the above study,the thesis puts forward the management strategies to improving the work engagement of primary and secondary school teachers from the design of institution,the administration of school and the implementation of teachers,so as to further explore the positive human capital on teachers and promote their work performance and professional happiness from the perspective of psychological contract.
