On School Managerial Power And The Relationships Between Leadership,Execution And Followership

Based on Bureaucracy Theory and Mintzberg's Organizational Configurations,in this research,School Managerial Power is regarded as the resultant force of Leadership,Execution and Followership.Using Qualitative research and Quantitative research,this research constructs the relationships between Leadership,Execution and Followership by SEM(Structural Equation Modeling).According to the model,some suggestions are proposed to the promotion of School Managerial Power.Based on Bureaucracy Theory and Mintzberg's Organizational Configurations,it is reasonable that this research regards School Managerial Power as the resultant force of Leadership,Execution and Followership.Through interviews and literature review,this research puts forward to the hypotheses and hypothetical model.The hypothetical model includes three facets which refer to Leadership,Execution and Followership.And the first hypothesis is that the Leadership has positive impact on the Execution;the second is that the Leadership has positive impact on the Followership;the third is that the Execution has positive impact on the Followership,the last one is that the Leadership affects the Followership via the Execution.Using SPSS and AMOS,analyzing the data came from survey,this research makes some analysis,such as CFA(confirmatory factor analysis),convergent validity,discriminant validity,and so on.It has been proved that the data fits the hypothesis model well.The conclusions are as follows:Firstly,the Leadership is positively related to the Followership,the Followership varies with the Leadership;Secondly,the Leadership is positively related to the Execution,the stronger Leadership,the stronger Execution;Thirdly,the Execution is related to the Followership;Lastly,the relationships between Leadership,Execution and Followership can prove the rationality of School Managerial Power.According to the conclusions,from the perspective of school management,this research gives some suggestions about how to improve the Leadership,the Execution and the Followership.
