The core accomplishment of geography is an important part of the core accomplishment of contemporary students.It has a profound impact on students' life,study and career development planning.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the cultivation of the core accomplishment of geography for senior high school students.With the method of questionnaire to students of the anqing second middle school and tongcheng No.6 middle high school in anhui province,this study,which is under the guidence of existing literatures and theories,investigates and analyses the level of geography core accomplishment of students.The study found that the current core accomplishment level in high school has an imbalanced development and a huge potential to improve on their overall performance.High school geography teachers is barely aware of teaching the core quality of geography and with a small training efforts in class.After being analysed the characteristics and mean of geographical core accomplishment and combining with the result of questionnaire,the paper cultivated strategies were proposed according to the four aspects of geographical core accomplishment each.Infiltrate the view of human-land coordination in classroom and practical activities to cultivate students' view of human-land coordination,and excavate the material of human-land coordination in teaching materials;help students to establish comprehensive thinking consciousness,integrate the teaching content of geography comprehensive thinking training to cultivate students' comprehensive thinking,and used cases to improve regional comprehensive thinking.By improving students' reading ability,using the teaching method of comparing regional environmental differences,strengthening the application of Internet technology to cultivate students' regional cognition;by creating an open teaching environment,we should pay more attention to geography practice and innovate the form of geography work.The strategies were applied to the design of teaching case with a teaching case and a reflection test,which provides reasonable feasible suggestions for the ideas and principles to be followed in the teaching case design.
