Classroom questioning is a traditional and commonly used method in Chinese teaching activities.This method can guide students to think and help students have a deep understanding of the teaching content.Thus classroom questioning plays a significant role during the teaching process.However,if there are too many ill-formed questions such as broken questions,questions deviating from the text,lack of core questions,it will largely decrease the teaching efficiency in Chinese reading.In the exploration of improving the teaching effect of Chinese reading by optimizing classroom questioning,the concept of "main question" has gradually entered the vision of more language education researchers.To guide classroom teaching with a small number of refined "main questions" can effectively remedy the shortcomings of traditional questioning.In this paper,three types of texts(literary texts,practical texts,expository texts)in senior high school Chinese textbooks are taken as the research objects,following the pace of curriculum reform,the effective design of the "main questions" of the three types of texts in senior high school at the level of classroom teaching are explored.Based on interviews with front-line teachers,and guided by the "Standards for Chinese Curriculum in Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)" and relevant theories,this paper puts forward the consciousness and basic ideas for the design of the "main questions" of the three types of text reading teaching in senior high schools.At the same time,with the data gathered through participating in collective lesson preparation,analyzing the teaching catalogue of famous Chinese teachers,and summarizing the teaching of Chinese reading in senior high schools,the design of "main questions" of literary text,practical text and expository text is classified and studied respectively.It is expected to help teachers put forward appropriate and effective "main questions" according to the type of text and improve teaching efficiency.This paper consists of five chapters,including the introduction,the text and the conclusion.The introduction part(Chapter I)clarifies the research significance,research objectives and research methods of the subject,defines the concept of key words,and introduces the research status of "main questions";Chapter II to Chapter V is the main part: Chapter II discusses the consciousness of designing the "main questions" with the guidance of the new curriculum concept,including curriculum reform consciousness,text consciousness,student consciousness,etc.,and strives to keep pace with the times.On the basis of defining the above consciousness,Chapter 3,Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 respectively discuss the design strategies of“main questions”concerning literary texts,practical texts and expository texts in the high school compulsory Chinese textbooks of PEP,introduce the classification,characteristics as well as key points of interpretation of the three types of texts,and analyze the three types of texts in the high school compulsory Chinese textbooks of PEP,in which the distribution and reading requirements of the materials are concerned and combined with teaching examples,the angle and design method of "main questions" in three types of texts are elaborated.The concluding part summarizes and reflects on this paper,and points out the significance and value of "main questions" design research.
