Research On The Leadership Of Rural Small-scale School Principals

From 2011 to 2016,the number of urban population has been increasing,the rate of urbanization has gradually increased.With the development of the urbanization,educational reform has gradually deepening.Therefore,most of rural schools are facing these troubles such as small-scale,closed and lower quality of teaching.Mr.Tao Xingzhi is the pioneer of rural education in China.He believes that the principal is the soul of a school.To evaluate a school,we must evaluate the principal at first.In order to lead and develop a good school greatly and play a “soul” role,school principals should depends on his leadership.This paper comprehensively uses the literature research method,questionnaire to conduct a research on the leadership of rural small-scale school principals,in order to proposal some suggestions for the development of leadership of rural small-scale school principals.Based on the school effectiveness theory and leadership trait theory,and takes the principals of small-scale rural schools as the research object,and draws on the five-dimensional model of school leadership,this paper designs the questionnaire of of rural small-scale schools in L County,which aims to investigate the current situation of rural small-scale schools in L County.According to empirical analysis,we analyze the leadership of small-scale school principal in rural areas,and compares different levels,different factors,and different influences.The study found that:(1)different genders have no significant impact on the leadership level of rural small-scale school principals;(2)the different lengths of principals have important influence on the leadership level of rural small-scale school principals;(3)undergraduate and above rural areas The leadership level of small-scale school principals is higher than that of undergraduate students;Finally,on the basis of research,we analyze the problems,and propose corresponding suggestions.
