As the development of economic globalization,talents are the main productive forces for the competition and development of modern society,and innovation is the requirement of talents in the current new era.In the information age,there is an increasing demand for innovative talents.Middle school students,as the reserve force of innovative talents,are an important part of China's development.Therefore,it is the requirement of The Times and the need of national development to cultivate the innovation ability of middle school students.This study is divided into five parts.It includes an introduction,an overview of relevant theories,an analysis of the current situation of the cultivation of high school students' chemical innovation ability under the STEAM concept,the cultivation strategy of high school students' chemical innovation ability under the STEAM concept,and the practical research on the cultivation strategy of high school students' chemical innovation ability under the STEAM concept.The last part is the conclusion and prospect of this paper.The first part mainly introduces the research background,current situation and significance of the paper,as well as the research ideas,methods and innovation points.Under the STEAM concept,it is not only the requirement of The Times but also the need of national development to cultivate the innovation ability of high school students in chemistry.The proposal of new curriculum standards determines the important position of innovation ability cultivation.The second part is to summarize and deepen the relevant meaning,theoretical basis and teaching principles of STEAM theory and innovation ability through literature review.Research on the theoretical support of constructivism,"learning by doing" theory,multiple intelligence theory and engineering thought lays a foundation for subsequent research.The third part analyzes and understands the status of high school students' chemical innovation ability under STEAM concept through questionnaire survey.I believe that the application of STEAM concept in high school chemistry class is conducive to cultivating students' ability of chemical innovation.The fourth part is mainly about the cultivation strategy of high school students' chemical innovation ability under STEAM theory and relevant practical research.This paper proposes the strategy from four dimensions: cultivation of innovation consciousness,cultivation of innovative thinking,cultivation of innovation ability and cultivation of innovation ability under STEAM theory.Then analyzes the combining theory and practice of teaching effect.The fifth part summarizes the whole paper,points out the innovation of this research on cultivating high school students' chemical innovation ability under the STEAM concept,and reflects on and looks forward to the relevant research.
