As the world changes,scientific research and technology has gained continuous improvement,and teaching methods are no longer static,but diversified and open.Project-based learning is one of the most recognized teaching methods in the academic world to meet the needs of the new curriculum reform.However,in the subject of art teaching,the research and application of project-based learning remains still weak.The paper is mainly aimed at efficiently combining project-based learning and high school art appreciation courses by studying the achievements and shortcomings of project-based learning in the field of vocational education and elementary education.Additionally,this paper focuses on introducing related theoretical study of project-based learning into high school art appreciation teaching designs;consequently,the research method of this subject is obtained.At the same time,a set of teaching design can be worked out to conduct the investigation of current situation of high school art appreciation teaching and to analyze the psychological development of high school students and their basic knowledge storage of art,according to the feasibility analysis of the application of the project-based learning in high school art appreciation courses.Therefore,through the introduction of project-based learning into high-level art appreciation teaching,this paper takes "The Self in the Eyes of the Artist" as an example,which turns out to be one of the specific teaching cases in high school art appreciation courses,applying project-based learning,further studied and generalized to design teaching.Meanwhile,rough evaluation and reflection on this case of the survey implemented,the paper summarizes of the practical results of project-based learning in the high school art appreciation class and raises some prospects.
