The basic feature of the Chinese curriculum lies in the unity of instrumentality and humanism,and in "Basic Ideas of the Curriculum" of "2003 Ordinary High School Chinese Curriculum Standard(Experiment)",it was clearly stated,"aesthetic education helps to promote the full development of people's cognition,affection and volition." Aesthetic education is not only conducive to the cultivation of innovative talents,but also promotes the development of society's cultural soft power.Compared to other courses,the aesthetic teaching of Chinese course plays a more significant role in cultivating students' aesthetic consciousness and interests.Therefore,on account of the New Curriculum Standard's emphasis on the aesthetic education and tragic works'unique value in the aesthetic teaching,Chinese teachers are required to adopt unique aesthetic teaching methods in teaching practices of tragic works,in order to cultivate students' abilities in discovering,perceiving,and applying aesthetic values and educational values.In view of this,this essay will be discussed into the following five parts:The first part is to discuss the origins,significance and methods of research,etc;The second distinguishes the related concepts of "tragedy" and "tragic";The third is to sort through the tragic works in high school Chinese textbooks and classify the selected articles,further exploring the aesthetic value and educational value of tragic works;The fourth is the key point of this essay,which mainly involves three aspects:the principles,contents and methods of aesthetic teaching,aiming to explore the uniqueness and creativity of aesthetic teaching.And the fifth part is to summarize the research significance and values.
