Purpose: This study takes the fitness effect of Health Qigong as the foothold to explore the influence of Health Qigong on the immune function of common college students.On the basis of the comparative study of jogging and fitness Qigong to further search the difference between traditional fitness and modern aerobic exercise,enrich and improve the fitness Qigong fitness effect,promote the research of health Qigong immunity mechanism,provide a new scientific basis for the concept of“preventive treatment of disease",and provide support for "physical and medical integration" and "healthy China".Research methods: This study mainly used the experimental method to divide 60 common college students into reference group,jogging group and Health Qigong group for a 12-week intervention study,the Health qigong group practices the Health Qigong·Five-animals while the prompt word music is given.The exercise intensity controls the heart rate between 110 and 140 beats per minute.The exercise time is 60 minutes each time and three times a week.Blood samples were collected one day before and one day after the experiment.The immune turbidimetric method was used to test the immunoglobulins(IgG,IgA,IgM,),complement C3,complement C4 and other indicators to observe the changes of each index,and conduct correlation and significant analysis of the result.RESULTS:(1)The 12-week qigong training significantly increased the levels of serum IgG,IgA,and C3 in college students(P<0.05),but there is no significant effect on IgM and C4 levels.(2)12-week jogging training can significantly increase serum IgG levels in college students(P<0.05),but not on IgM,IgA,C3,C4 levels;(3)Compared with jogging,Health Qigong training can significantly increase the levels of serum IgA and C3 in college students(P<0.05).Other indicators of IgG,IgM,C4 were not significantly different.Conclusions(1)Compared with the reference group,12-week health Qigong training and jogging can significantly improve the immunity of college students.(2)The improvement of immunity in the Health Qigong group was better than that in the jogging group.Compared with the jogging,the Health Qigong training significantly increased the serum IgA level(P<0.05)and C3 level(P<0.05).Suggestions: 1.This study proves the unique role of Health Qigong in promoting human immunity.As immunity is the key to prevent diseases and help people to recuperate,Health Qigong should be fully utilized its role in “physical and medical integration and non-medical health intervention”.2.Health Qigong,as an aerobic exercise,not only has the advantages of safety,reliability,simplicity,easy to learn,improve balance,but also represent the value of cultural heritage,such as emphasizing the combination of mental and physical movements,which is of great help to maintain physical and mental health and can play a greater role in "healthy China".
