In the Outline of “Healthy China 2030” Planpromulgated by the State Council in 2016,Health Qigong was set by the General Administration of Sport of China as the 62 nd promoted sports project,which became a supporting project.According to the Action Plan for Health Qigong2019-2021 officially promulgated by the General Administration of Sport of China in 2019,“active promotion of the creative transformation and innovative development of health culture of Health Qigong helps inject vitality into the sustainable and healthy development of the project,and constantly enrich the significance of times and the practical value of health culture of Health Qigong." Health Qigong is a traditional national sport that combines physical activity,breathing,and psychological adjustment,as it has its own fitness value and the traditional value of Chinese culture.Its health-keeping mechanism is embodied in three aspects: regulating body,regulating breath and regulating psychology,respectively corresponding to the body,qi and spirit of human body,and when the three are united,the health-keeping effect will be realized.Teachers and students in higher education institutes are the suitable objects to inherit Chinese traditional culture.We should improve college students' recognition of Chinese traditional culture and health-keeping culture,strengthen students' thought of health caring so as to form correct health-keeping awareness.In this paper,502 students taking compulsory Health Qigong courses and 30 teachers engaged in Health Qigong teaching in 5 Shijiazhuang higher education institutes were taken as investigation objects,and the situation of Health Qigong courses in Shijiazhuang higher education institutes was studied by literature method,expert interview method,questionnaire method,field investigation method and mathematical statistics method.The data and materials collected were analyzed,and the conclusions are shown as follows:1.The five higher education institutes mainly adopted skilled movement teaching without class schedule for theoretical courses,with Yi Jin Jing,Wu Qin Xi,Ba Duan Jin as teaching content;70% of the teachers engaged in martial arts before involving in Health Qigong,30% engaged in track and field as well as aerobics before going in for Health Qigong;health knowledge was less imparted in skill teaching;only two higher education institutes had organized lectures related to Health Qigong.2.98.4% of the students considered it necessary to add the theoretical health-keeping knowledge into the Health Qigong teaching;94.6% thought that Health Qigong belonged to physical health keeping;students had deficient knowledge about what the "three regulating" included;and 92.6%took physical exercise to carry out health keeping.3.82% of the students studied Health Qigong for developing the concept of lifelong physical education,and only 22.2% for preventing diseases;most of the students thought that they felt good after practicing Health Qigong,accounting for 94.2%;79% felt relaxed after practicing Health Qigong;52.4% thought that it was not very helpful to develop a good lifestyle after practicing Health Qigong;81.3% thought that they were free from anxiety in life after studying Health Qigong. |
