Research On Craftsman Spirit Cultivation Of Guangdong Higher Vocational Colleges Students

In 2016,"Craftsman Spirit" was listed in the government work report for the first time.In 2018,the government work report emphasized and promoted the "Craftsman Spirit" once again.Craftsman spirit is a necessary spiritual quality for all walks of life and is of great significance to cultivate students’ craftsman spirit in higher vocational colleges.Especially for Guangdong,a province with large vocational education,nurturing the craftsman spirit of higher vocational students is conducive to meet the social demands for skilled talents and play a great role in students’ career.Taking Guangdong province as the research area,this thesis explores the current situation and gets to know how craftsman spirit cultivation is influenced by various factors,so as to confirm how to cultivate students’ craftsman spirit preferably and endow them with this spirit.This study adopts document analysis method,questionnaire survey and interview to collect relevant materials and data for analysis and research.In the literature analysis section,this thesis expounds the current research status,hotspots,and the future research trend towards craftsman spirit by a large number of references and Cite space APP.In the questionnaire part,through the questionnaire surveys which were conducted among students in the higher vocational colleges of Guangdong,a conclusion was drawn that students had a good understanding towards of craftsman spirit.However,they were not very active in participating competitions and the public activities organized by schools.In terms of basic information survey,there are significant differences in students’ grade,classification of arts and sciences,and political status.As for the correlation of dimensions,there is a conspicuous correlation among cognition,behavior and environment.Over the current situation,the cultivation of students’ craftsman spirit was influenced by the teachers,schools,enterprises,society,family,individual attitudes,evaluation mechanism and so on.In the part of teacher interview,by sorting out and analyzing the interview contents of five teachers from Guangdong vocational colleges,the results show that teachers in different professional positions have different degrees of recognition and understandings towards the importance of craftsman spirit,but reach a consensus on the importance of professional ethics.In view of the current situation of cultivating students’ craftsman spirit,the main methods focus on skills competitions,propaganda and teacher guidance,etc.Finally,through the literature analysis,questionnaire investigation,interview method,some issues can be found that were existed in the process of students’ spirit cultivation in higher vocational colleges.For the deficiencies,this thesis provides relevant solutions from the aspects of internal and external causes in order to promote the cultivation of craftsman spirit of higher vocational students and offer guidance for their career development.
