High school students generally feel that physics is difficult to learn,and teachers have a certain difficulty in teaching this basic subject of physics.Because the physics discipline has the particularity of the discipline,it is complex,abstract,and uniquely logical.Students must have the corresponding logical thinking ability and imagination ability to learn this subject well,but for the high school students at this stage,their logical thinking ability and imagination ability are lacking.Moreover,the concepts,formulas and laws in high school physics are many,and they are boring and boring,which leads to students' lack of interest in learning.It takes a long time to naturally become bored with this subject,which is one of the reasons why physics is not popular now.In the face of these real problems,the existence of images is crucial.The characteristics of physical images are simple,visual and intuitive,which can make complex physical processes concrete and intuitive,simple and clear,and easy to understand.Its existence can solve the above problems to a certain extent,which not only adds interest,but also simplifies complex physics knowledge,and also plays a certain role in promoting students to learn physics.Physical image is an indispensable part of high school physics teaching and an important part of teacher teaching and student learning.Physical images mainly include schematics and function graphs,which account for the vast majority of high school physical images.The image has its unique advantages.Therefore,the vast majority of physics teachers cannot ignore the intuitive teaching method of images.The rational use of physical images in teaching can not only help students to deeply understand physics knowledge,physical laws,etc.,but also improve high school students.Learning physics interest,promoting the development of students' image thinking and divergent thinking,cultivating students' practical ability,and thus improving students' physics performance.Therefore,as a special physical language,images should be highly valued by teachers and students.This paper mainly studies the application ability of high school students' physical images.It mainly uses the questionnaire survey method and interview method to investigate the actual situation and application of physical images of high school students.The paper analyzes the results of the questionnaire and the interview results,finds out the problems existing in the application of physical images by high school students,analyzes the causes and influencing factors behind the problems,and attempts to propose specific countermeasures.In order to verify whether the proposed teaching strategy is effective in improving students' physical image application ability,this paper conducts teaching experiments.Finally,the research conclusions are drawn,and the research shortages in this paper are reflected.The final research results show that the high school students' physical image application ability is not strong,and the ability to draw,map,analyze,and use graphics needs to be improved.Students lack the method of learning image system,and their physical image understanding is one-sided,and the ability to extract effective information is lacking.This leads to various problems when doing image-based problems.There are also significant differences in the application of gender and physical image.Boys and girls have great differences in the understanding,mastery and application of images.The ability of boys to perceive,understand and apply images is better than that of girls.Based on these existing problems and combined with the suggestions given by the teachers in the interviews,the author puts forward some specific coping strategies,mainly focusing on the meaning and value of physical images,enhancing the awareness of applying physical images,and specializing on images.Special teaching;teaching with illustrations,paying attention to students' association and imagination;standardizing student mapping;practicing exercises on images,trying to solve problems with image method;encouraging students to think with images and learning to process experimental data with images.The final result of the teaching experiment also shows that the proposed teaching strategy is effective for improving the application ability of high school students' physical images.
