As a special and universal group in school education,the backward students are an urgent problem to be solved in the current school education.Junior high school stage is the "dangerous period" of individual psychological development,the problem of underachievers in junior high school stage is more prominent.If it is not properly solved,it will lead to backward students getting tired of learning,dropping out of school and even going on the path of juvenile delinquency.In view of this,this paper looks at the phenomenon of backward students in schools from the angle of educational sociology,and finds that the seemingly fair and reasonable school education actually has hidden unfair problems,which is related to the value orientation and achievement judgment from the society and education.Throughout the junior middle school field investigated,it is not difficult to find out that backward students who are at a disadvantage in the evaluation of academic achievement are the vulnerable groups in this field,and they are suffering from all kinds of unequal treatment and distress.By means of literature,questionnaire,interview and observation,this paper takes the backward students of five junior high schools in Hainan Province as the research object to understand their survival situation and the causes of their existence in the school field.It is hoped to provide ideas for changing the disadvantages of backward students in junior high school.This paper is divided into four chapters:Chapter one,introduction.It includes the reasons for topic selection,literature review,the definition of related concepts,theoretical basis,research purpose,research significance and research methods.Chapter two,Analysis of survey results.The results showed that they became the "losers" under the school discipline network because they could not adapt to the discipline management.The teachers' differential treatment has reduced them to "outsiders" in the classroom,"marginal people" in the classroom and "bottom" members in the class.In the face of difficulties,some people choose to resist,some choose to be obedient.Chapter three,the cause analysis.This paper analyzes the causes of the survivalsituation of backward students in the school field from four aspects of school,teacher,family and peer group.First,the educational orientation of school achievement standard and the management mode of over-discipline have shaped the marginal identity of the backward students.Second,teachers have created the disadvantage of backward students intentionally or unintentionally,by adopting single evaluation criteria,extreme class management methods,differentiated distribution of educational resources and paste bad labels;Third,the negative influence from the family environment plays an important role in promoting the formation of the backward students' distress.The other is the illegal subculture of peer group has lured the backward students to rebel against the school.Chapter four,changing the path of the disadvantage of backward students in the school field in junior middle school.First,school education should be "people-oriented" and accept backward students;second,teachers respect individual differences and care for backward students;third,parents grow educational wisdom to help the healthy growth of backward students;The fourth,restrain negative group subculture and purify the communication environment of backward students.
