Social entrepreneurship originated in Europe and the United States.It is a kind of entrepreneurial model that uses market mechanism to create social value.It is both "social" and "profitable".It is considered as a new way to solve social problems.It has been received globally in recent years.extensive attention.Social entrepreneurship education is seen as an activity that fosters social entrepreneurs.Foreign universities have introduced social entrepreneurship education since the 1990 s.In the course of more than 20 years of development,especially the social entrepreneurship education system of American colleges and universities has become more and more perfect,and many excellent social entrepreneurs have been cultivated,which has created enormous economic and social values.At present,China's social entrepreneurship education is still in its infancy,and social entrepreneurship theory and practice have begun to take shape.In order to comply with the trend of mass entrepreneurship,innovation and new normal economic development,understanding the successful experience of American social entrepreneurship education will help us effectively carry out social entrepreneurship education in China and promote the development of social entrepreneurship in China.Innovation drives development strategies that inspire innovation and creativity in society.Based on the research summary of social entrepreneurship at home and abroad,this paper grasps the overall situation of social entrepreneurship education research.By trying to sort out the development history of social entrepreneurship education in Chinese and American universities,analyzing the typical cases of social entrepreneurship education in American colleges and universities,and combining the theory of social entrepreneurship,through the investigation of three universities in South China Normal University,Heilongjiang University and Wenzhou University,they have received entrepreneurship education.And college students who have experience in social entrepreneurship,as well as teachers engaged in entrepreneurship education,analyze the development status of social entrepreneurship education in universities in China and the United States.This paper further studies the four aspects of education concept,curriculum,teacher construction and governance structure,summarizes the successful experience of social entrepreneurship education in American colleges and universities,analyzes the problems existing in the process of social entrepreneurship education in China,and tries to obtain further development of colleges and universities in China.The enlightenment of social entrepreneurship education actively promotes the vigorous development of social entrepreneurship education in Chinese universities.
