Jiang Menglin is a famous modern educator in China.He advocates the innovation of history professors.In order to make up for the shortcomings of traditional history education,he published the"Research on the Reform of History Professors".It focuses on children and uses psychology to explore children’s psychology.He proposed individualized training and he made a great contribution to history education.At present,China’s middle school history education reform puts forward new requirements for the selection of historical content materials and teaching methods.The domestic and international situation changes gradually develop towards student-centrism,that is,student-centered,around the students’social life needs,according to their The ability to rationally develop a history teaching plan,select close to living materials as a historical teaching material,in order to achieve personalized training.Jiang Menglin’s historical education thought just meets the needs of historical education reform.This thought draws on the experience of historical education at home and abroad.Based on the children’s ability,the history education content is detailed and focused.Because his historical education thought is subject to Dewey’s "children’s centralism",although Jiang’s thought has a positive effect on Chinese history education,it also has limitations,which gives vigilance and enlightenment to the history education of middle school in China.The research content of this paper is divided into four parts.First of all,by looking up domestic and foreign literature,Jiang Menglin is a great educator.Because of the influence of Tutor Dewey,he advocates "child-centeredism" and believes that this idea can save Chinese history education.Secondly,it studies the background of Jiang Menglin’s historical education thought,analyzes its purpose,textbook and teaching concept,advocates child-centered individualized cultivation,analyzes historical phenomena from multiple angles,is not limited to political morality,and explores historical truth..Thirdly,with children’s centralism,new historical concepts and historical values as the logical starting point,the concept of historical education is clarified,and the individualized training of children is emphasized.Iideological function is mainly manifested in three aspects:promoting social civilization,enhancing personal value,socialization and individualization.Finally,by analyzing Jiang Menglin’s historical education thoughts,this paper puts forward the practical guiding significance of his thoughts to the reform of middle school history education in China,including broadening the teaching horizon,strengthening individuality training,establishing a comprehensive education model of psychology and historical thought,and establishing a new theme of practical life.Five practical guiding significance of education,socialization and individualization.
