Current Situation And Counttemeasure Of Sports Exchange Between Xiamen And Kinmen

Cross-strait exchanges and cooperation have always been highly concerned by the Party and the government,through which people from both sides of the Taiwan Strait can get closer to each other and also promote the integration and development across the Taiwan Strait.However,since the reelection and shift of Taiwan's leaders,the exchanges and cooperation development across the Taiwan Strait have been restricted,especially the political,economic and trade exchanges have experienced a large obstruct.Under such circumstances,in order to highlight the important place of Xiamen and Kinmen in both sides of the Strait,and meet the practical needs of the Party and the government to deepen cross-strait exchanges and cooperation,this research will derive from the perspective of sports exchanges between Xiamen and Kinmen,utilizing mainly the methods of documentation and interview,by analyzing the current development conditions,confronting obstacles and issues of Xiamen-Kinmen sports exchanges,proposing development strategies which focusing on deepening Xiamen-Kinmen sports exchanges and further connecting the exchanges and cooperation between these two places by current investigations and interviews.The research results shows as follows:Xiamen and Kinmen play a special and prominent role in the development of cross-straits relations.The unique geographical advantages of Xiamen and Kinmen,the support from Xiamen to Taiwan-related work policies,and the convenient traffic conditions of direct flights between Xiamen and Kinmen,the homogenous cluture of extemal expressions with the same connection of gods,customs and ancestry,makingXiamen and Kinmen become the important window of the development of relations across the Taiwan Strait.Even under the situation of current political,economic and trade exchanges across the Taiwan Strait are stucked,but the sports exchanges between Xiamen and Kinmen still have great advantages and promotion in the peaceful development of cross-strait relations.Since Kinmen disbanded military law and achieved rapprochement with Xiamen,some sports associations have come into being,focusing on the exchanges of mass sports,the researches of academic societies,as well as the development of sports.A series of characteristic sports events have been held,such as a marathon,Kinmen strait crossing,dragon boat race,linking the two sides and the public.The development status of sports exchange activities and the development of tourism in the two places.Thus,such exchanges to Kinmen are restricted to some extent due to the influence of relevant policies implemented by Taiwan.The mechanism of mutual visits between the two places has not yet been perfected;the content and form of exchanges are single,and the exchange of sports industry has not yet formed a scale;the level of competition is not high,which restricts the improvement of the level of competition;The insufficient development of folk culture resources restricts the exchange of folk sports between the two places.The above are the difficulties and problems faced in the development of sports exchanges between Xiamen and Kinmen.At present or in the future,the development of sports exchanges between Xiamen and Jinmen should focus on:1.Based on the unique geographical advantages,we should constantly optimize the sports exchange environment of the two places from the aspects of the soft and hard conditions of the traffic environment and the policy guarantee.2.Based on the long-term development of brand events,continuously improve the level of competition level.3.Strengthen mutual trust,on the premise of maintaining "one China" and on the principle of not destroying the feelings of compatriots across the Straits,and remove the main obstacles to sports exchanges between the two sides.4.Based on the homologous cultures of the two places,which are closely related to each other and inherit the customs,we should expand the channels of folk sports exchange,continuously develop the resources of folk culture,enrich the forms of folk sports exchange,and highlight the characteristics of folk sports exchange between the two places.5.Take consanguinity and kinship as a link,make full use of the opportunity of Jinmen compatriots returning to the mainland to visit their relatives and ancestors,base their communication content on the characteristics of southern Fujian,improve the grass-roots organizations of folk sports associations,and continuously deepen the folk sports exchanges between Xiamen and Jinmen.6.Continuously expand the exchange of sports industry between the two places,focusing on the development of sports tourism industry based on brand sports events and the combination of tourism resources and sports leisure,so as to promote economic development.
