Historical materialism is the soul of the core accomplishment of history discipline.It is the theoretical guarantee that other qualities can be achieved.In high school history class,the important and necessary task is to guide students to set up correct historical materialism.In the process of learning history,the historical situation is an important form of knowledge representation to strengthen historical feeling and enhance historical understanding.In the high school history class,the situational teaching method is a necessary teaching method.We must discuss how to effective combine historical materialism teaching with situational teaching.This paper summarizes the current research status and achievements of historical materialism and Situational teaching method through document analysis method.It is found that there is a lack of research on using situational teaching method to cultivate students' historical materialism.The paper also discusses the main problems of cultivating historical materialism in high school history teaching by using case analysis and teaching examples.From three aspects:the cognitive characteristics,the main reasons for the difficulties in teaching historical materialism and the characteristics of situational discussed the reasons why the situational teaching has unique advantages in cultivating historical materialism Combining teaching practice to explore the method of creating historical teaching situation to cultivate high school students'historical that from the creation the activity situation,the perception situation and the inquiry situation three aspects.And point out the problems that teachers should pay attention to when using situational teaching method to cultivate students' historical materialism.It provides reference for the teaching practice of cultivating students' historical materialism in high school history teaching.
