With the deepening of the new curriculum reform,the development and utilization of history curriculum resources are particularly important.How to develop the curriculum resources and how to use them in classroom teaching has always been the concern of history teachers.As the essence of Chinese traditional culture,couplets are short and concise,with neat sentence patterns,diverse rhetoric and strong literary color.Teachers and students should explore the historical value of the couplet while appreciating its literary value.Lots of couplets bear witness to the years and bear the imprint of The Times.They contain rich historical knowledge and can be used as written historical materials.Couplets record the historical reality of the past.They can help teachers and students walk into history,understand history and comprehend history.The application of couplets to history classroom in middle school conforms to the trend of new curriculum reform and provides new ideas for history teachers to develop curriculum resources.Based on the couplets,which are artistic,national,contemporary and practical,this article expounds the role of couplets in history teaching in middle schools.Using the couplet is advantageous to the rich history course in middle school history teaching resources,to promote the professional development of teachers and arouse the students'interest in learning,enhance students' understanding of knowledge and master,to carry forward the Chinese traditional culture and patriotism education for students,and many other benefits,the couplet can occupy a place in the field of middle school history.How to use couplets in middle school history teaching is the top priority of this article.Teachers should follow the principles of pertinence,scientificity,suitability and interestingness,actively guide students,teach them to collect,select,analyze and share couplets,and comprehend the charm of couplets.Finally,taking the lesson of the Revolution of 1911 as an example,this article attempts to apply the couplet transport to the history teaching of middle school through the specific teaching design,so as to provide an example for the actual classroom teaching.
