In the process of modernization, the temptation of economic interests has been continuously strengthened, and people have been rushing into the life of big cities. Most rural areas are losing their building power and facing the threat of hollowing out and disintegrating. As the main force of the future construction of the village, rural children are deeply affected by urbanization, and the cognitive characteristics of children themselves have led to a low level of identity in their hometown.Under this circumstance, the excellent culture of rural areas is gradually lost, and the construction of rural areas is difficult to continue. Therefore, the issue of village identity of rural children should be given full attention. The author took advantage of professional internships to carry out project services to go deep into Jiangwan Village,Suzhou City,Jiangsu Province, using questionnaires, interviews, and observations to collect information, from village living environment satisfaction, interpersonal relationships, community participation, emotional attachment, and inheritance tendencies.Five dimensions analyze the level of identity of children in Jiangwan Village. After analysis,it is found that children's lack of self-cognitive judgment, lack of family and school functions, and weak support of rural communities lead to low levels of children's home identity.Through feasibility and optimality analysis, the project research will improve children's own cognition as the main direction to improve children's hometown identity, and try to use group work methods to enhance children's sense of identity with the village.Under the guidance of social learning theory, combined with children's cognitive characteristics and village resources, content design, including understanding the village environment, structure, culture, improving children's interpersonal relationship in the village, strengthening children's village participation, deepening children's villages Emotional attachment and other four aspects. Finally, the process evaluation and results evaluation were carried out for the implementation of the project content, which finally showed that the children had significant improvement in interpersonal communication, community participation and emotional attachment in the village. The author rethinks the project and finds that there are three problems in the social worker's intervention level, lack of rigor in evaluation, and insufficient social worker service skills, and proposes improvement:First, social workers need to intervene from multiple angles.Practice, comprehensive use of social work practices;second, improve the evaluation mechanism;third, strengthen the practical capacity of social work.
